Originally, I wasn't going to do a poem, but I felt that poetry was a good way to convey emotion and not just have bland facts in an essay. Since I read Ted Kaczynski's manifesto, I wrote a poem based on him, but with a twist. I used the perspective of the land that he built his cabin on to try and present the Unabomber in a different way. The land views Ted as abusing the materials it gave him and adding nothing but sorrow to the world.
